Hindi filmstars throng Jaipur

Winter has arrived in the desert state of Rajasthan, but the temperature is up with the presence of Hindi filmstars in the Pink City.
JP Dutta, noted producer-director who has made numerous films in Rajasthan, has returned to Jaipur after almost ten years to shoot a film, the remake of the epic Umrao Jaan with Aishwarya Rai in the lead. He will be shooting at various locations in Chomu, Samode, Jaigarh, Amer, Bagru and the City Palace.
It may be added that Dutta has decided to make his next film on life of Rajmata Gayatri Devi and would use his stay in Jaipur to know more about her. This film will also star Aishwarya Rai. Rajmata okayed the proposal after he introduced Aishwarya to her in London.
Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowarikar recently met Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at her residence and discussed his upcoming film, Akbar-Jodha and the proposed Pinkcity Filmcity project.
