Big B To Build Taj Mahal For Ash!

The most suave man on television and the hottest face in Bollywood till date is none other than Amitabh Bachchan and after playing Aishwarya Rai's father in Mohabbatein he will now probably play her husband in the upcoming IMAX theatre venture: Taj Mahal.
The Big B was approached by Bharatbala Productions to play the character of the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal will be played by the beautiful Aishwarya Rai. Indian fashion diva, Ritu Kumar is supposed to be designing the ornate costumes for the film. Taj Mahal will be India's first IMAX production, from Scott Swofford to Bharatbala Productions.
The Big B is also starring against Nandita Das in Aks where she plays his wife. For some it may seem strange seeing Amitabh playing roles opposite heroines half his age. But one would have to admit that in the promos he looks rather cool. In fact his co-stars are more than honoured to be playing against him. "I am excited, after all he is an icon," says Nandita Das. Well, here's wishing the forever-young Big B all the best!
