Weekend: February 23–25, 2007

GURU [last weekend: No. 40, this weekend: No. 57]: In its seventh weekend, the film has collected £1,402 on 3 screens, with the per screen average working out to £467. Total: £502,789 [approx. Rs. 4.36 crores].
The breakdown: Friday: £443; Saturday: £750; Sunday: £209.

INDIAN BOX-OFFICE

GURUbhai continues to rock with a further 1.5 crores in its 6th week. Due to competition from his dad [EKLAVYA], Abhishek did see a fall of 45% after a negligible fall of 15% in the week prior to it. At 40 crores, the film is now a superhit and gets both Mani Ratnam and Abhishek Bachchan a firm footing in the world of Hindi cinema.
