"Aishwarya will start these assignments as soon as she completes Jodha-Akbar. There's absolutely no reason to think she'd quit working after marriage. Both families are very supportive of Ash's career. And that includes Mrs Jaya Bachchan," says a source close to Aishwarya.
In light of these declarations, the contention that Ash would back out of her commitments including Raaste, seems most implausible. Says Raaste producer Suneil Shetty, "My Raaste with Vicky Chopra is on track. But I'm in no hurry to start it. A lot depends on when Abhishek and Ash get married. I’ll go ahead with the film whenever they're comfortable."
Says a young and ambitious director, "I want to bring her together with both Abhishek and Hrithik, since she's proved to be a hit with Abhishek and Hrithik in Guru and Dhoom 2 respectively. I'm working on the script and will approach them only after I'm completely satisfied that I can do full justice to all of them. I've been assured by her secretary that she doesn't plan to quit films. All these rumours about her quitting are baseless. She has given two hits in a row and is more career-focused now and is determined to prove she's here to stay."
While Ash has the historical Jodha-Akbar with Hrithik, there are three projects in the pipeline with Abhishek.
