Abhishek gets exclusive peek at 'Jodhaa-Akbar' promos

Aishwarya Rai is beaming with pride these days. Sources reveal that Ash is thrilled about the promos of Jodhaa Akbar hitting theatres on October 12. Apparently, Ash couldn’t contain her joy and showed some exclusive footage to Abhishek before he left for Namibia to shoot for Drona.

Sources working on Jodhaa Akbar reveal that director Ashutosh Gowariker worked extremely hard on the promos and wanted to showcase the Hrithik-Ash chemistry in the teasers.
In fact, he changed the original plan of keeping the first promos strictly historical and decided to play up the sizzling chemistry between his lead pair.
"The first promos were supposed to give glimpses of the Mughal period, with heavy emphasis on the look and costumes of the protagonists. Then Ashu changed his mind. Ash was very impressed with the promos and has been telling friends that she can’t wait any longer for the promos to hit the screen," says the source.
Since Abhishek left for Namibia last week, Ash made arrangements for him to watch the promos before leaving. Source adds that Abhishek is equally excited about Jodhaa Akbar.
"This is her biggest release to date after marriage. Not just Abhishek, but the entire Bachchan family is cheering for her," adds the source.
