Some people desperately need a lesson in tact, and there is no one more deserving of that lesson than Kareena Kapoor.One would think that she would have better things to discuss such as the string of box office flops she has continued to deliver, rather than spouting out nonsensical quotes about her acting peers and elders. But apparently, that's giving the lady a bit too much credit.
In another outburst that clearly shows her level of maturity, she has lashed out AGAIN at Aishwarya Rai, in an interview to Filmfare.
She was asked if by her saying previously that she would rather play lead heroine in a Yash Chopra film than play second fiddle to Meryl Streep, was she taking a dig at The Rai? Well she claims that was not the case that she just doesn't see what all the hallaboo is about Hollywood and why Indian actors should run after recognition by the West. She went on to say, "I don’t think Hollywood is impressed by fair skin, light eyes and great hair. Every second girl has it there. Why would they be interested in us?"
Well I would give "Hollywood" a bit more credit than that. I guess it's a bit too much to think that beauty alone does not make a film. Maybe the lady is just miffed that Hollywood is not interested in her? In any case, empty barrels make the most sound so judge as you may.
